AMP Awards for Music and Sound

The AMP Awards, now in its fifth year, in the only US-based, not-for-profit competition in advertising and branding dedicated to honoring achievements in music and sound in all media. Winners will be announced at the AMP Awards presentation, set for Tuesday, May 23, at the Diamond Horseshoe, located in the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan's Theatre District.

Judged by members of the Association of Music Producers as well as professionals from the music and marketing industries at large, The AMP Awards were established to honor outstanding sonic achievement across all broadcast and digital media platforms. And in so doing, to underscore the power of music / sound in aligning brand identity with consumer experience.

A crucial part of the AMP Awards program has been the establishment of the AMP 'Hall of Fame', honoring legendary brands that have demonstrated a profound understanding of the importance of music in telling their story. In the Awards' first year Coca Cola and McDonald's took the stage as both pioneers and innovators in their branding strategies.

About AMP: The Association of Music Producers was founded in 1998 for the purpose of educating its members, as well as members of the production, advertising and media communities, on all facets of the music business, from creation and acquisition to final use. AMP is dedicated to raising awareness of and appreciation for the value of music and sound to all broadcast content in all media.

Over 80% of the soundtracks for America's leading consumer brands are recorded by AMP member companies and individuals. In affiliation with the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP), AMP has established its role as the leading voice of music and sound in the $5 billion commercial production industry.
